For those of you unfamiliar with our program, BL is a total volunteer organization. We are not sponsored or funded by the school district or the town recreation department. The program is run by a Board of Directors and volunteer coaching staff along with the assistance of the parents of all players. We are dedicated to the instruction of the game of lacrosse, sportsmanship, teamwork, and fair play. Lacrosse is a fast paced, fun sport and we encourage everyone to try playing!  BL is open to all students who reside within the boundaries of the Bow school district and those surrounding towns that do not currently field a youth lacrosse team.

This year we plan to field U8, U10, U12 and U14 boys' and girls' teams. These teams will be part of the NH Youth Lacrosse Association (NHYLA) and will travel statewide, usually about an hour away. We will need increased flexibility and adherence to safety guidelines outlined prior to the season starts as we offer this program during a global pandemic. With that being said, if the season is cancelled we will refund registration fees.

Early bird registration will be open from 1/18/21 until 1/25/21 and will save you $15 per player! Regular registration will be open from 1/26/21 through 2/15/21. We will also have a late registration that will be open until 2/21/21 but there will be a late fee of $15.

Teams will start the year with indoor practices in March in the brand new NH Sportsdome located in Hooksett, NH. Not only is this facility more conducive for playing lacrosse they also turn over the inside air completely every 2 hours helping to mitigate the spread of COVID-19. We will require players and parents to wear face masks while indoors. More COVID-19 safety guidelines will come out closer to the start of the season based on the most recent safety guidelines. Indoor practices will be the last 3 weeks of March and the 1st week of April. Indoor practices will be 1-2 times a week for an hour. Once outside, teams will practice two or three times a week for about 1 to 2 hours dependent on player age.  Coaches will determine which night and time practices are held. The season runs through mid-June.

Games are typically played on Sundays with some games during the week or on Saturdays. There are typically 4 home games and 4 away games. We end with a tournament in mid-June in Amherst.

Players will need to buy a uniform. If you are a returning player you can use the uniform you had last year as the uniforms are the same. We will assign numbers, and they will stay the same every year. Please follow the link below and purchase your uniform when you register.
